IV therapy is a method to quickly administer fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream. By going directly into the bloodstream, your body can absorb 100% of the vitamins; taken orally vitamins experience about 20% hydration due to the digestive tract. Our services are meant to act as supplements and not to replace oral hydration.
All IVs are administered by a nurse and performed under orders provided a medical director. Before a client receives IV therapy, their health history is evaluated.
Side effects from an IV drip are generally non-existent or very mild. On occasion, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, itching, inflammation, or redness at or around the site of injection, and this could last from a few minutes to several days. However, true allergic reactions are extremely rare.
Our vitamin injections cost between $25 - $50. Our infusions will cost as low as $75 to $150 on average.
Most infusions take about 30-45 minutes to complete. There are a few forms to complete prior to your infusion as well as a quick medical assessment.
During your first appointment one of our nurses will go over your medical forms and discuss with you what infusion is best to fit your needs. If you have any pre-existing health conditions that we find concerning, you may need to see your primary care provider prior to infusion to acquire their consent for infusion. An IV that is connected to bag of fluids will be inserted into your arm. The bag will be hung above your head to allow gravity to push the fluids into your veins over a period of time.
